The Road Less Traveled Goes Virtual To Help Artists

OVERVIEW:

A lot of people are struggling in midst of the coronavirus madness – especially our friends on the Texas Music Scene. We want to help. We are hosting 10 virtual/online concerts over the next several weeks. We want to put these artists in the spotlight, and give them the opportunity to tell the story behind their music. (And hopefully put some money in their pockets through virtual tip jars and merch sales.)

Each of these shows will be streamed live on Facebook (Defining Audacity and Real Texas Radio) and on Instagram Live (Defining Audacity).

To honor social distancing and doing our part to help stop the spread of Covid-19, these shows are not open to the public, BUT you will get the opportunity to watch in your underwear at home.

Producer and host Drew Myers, who launched the Defining Audacity Radio Show in Sept. 2015, will interview these artists about their goals, dreams and aspirations. The artists will also play several songs during the 1-hour events. The format will be similar to his live-audience shows, "The Road Less Traveled."

“My goal is to give Texas music fans the opportunity to experience the same intimacy that I get when I bring these amazing singer/songwriters into the studio,” Myers said. “This is a one-of-a-kind event that puts the spotlight directly on the artists and their music.”
